bus journey

You know the feeling, when you are so tired you wish the bus ride would never stop? You sit there and look out the window, observe the passers-by, admire the sky... breath in, breath out...
Well, it's not exactly how it looked like today.
I was standing in the middle of a stressed out crowd of students. So many, I didn't even have to look for a place to hold myself : I was "sandwiched" between the princess of smoke and the "I-love-to-eat-kebab-in-the-morning-King". I couldn't move, couldn't look up, couldn't look down. I suppose it was better like that, otherwise I would have found myself face to face with the exhibitor of all-ever-invented-piercings... So there I was, bouncing against those bodies, enable to move.
Don't know about you, but I hate those kind of trips...
Well, that is all for today's adventure... well let us call it weirdness of the day...
Please, do write one of your memorable trips... on my comment page.

We'll never get in there! ****Make way!! Move along inside the car!! **** Oh no! You're Joking!

Inseparable...

Now, how cute is that?

It was a long long long time ago...

I think I was 11, so K. was 9, Misha 7 and D-Boy 3... Sweet memories... of wonderful times....

New Start

Second try... thanks to the internet and one of its many sudden problems, I have to write this blog again!

Today, after 3 months of holidays (yes, 3 month...but it's not like I asked for it), university should have started. I got up, got dressed, got on the bus, got there (got got got...) just to find out that it starts tomorrow. Hey, you, reader, stop laughing. It's not like I could have known. They sent an email only to some students... you should have seen the reaction of some of the guys there: What, they can't do this. How dare they... *blablabla* I was just happy to go back to bed. But it's still kind of stupid. Anyway... so, tomorrow, is the big day. When boredom will stop and normal life will start again. I love its routine...

Here a picture of my university...

So, it's 2:30 in the morning... we are really starting to do crazy things. We are tired. But traditions are traditions and have to be kept.
So here we are, sitting on the floor and fooling around.
Who is there?
Flieger Honsberg... (he's promised to send a picture...)
Patrack the Speckwürfel...
Misha the beautiful Barcelona fan
Kikky... alias White chocolate
Veronika, the sleeping beauty
And me... the author of this post.
Anyways... we had some Latte Macchiato, watched a very stupid movie... laughed a lot... Now we have once again some material... to prove our crazyness.
Pictures will follow...:)

Home Sweet Home

Is there anything better than to go home?

My dad picked me up at the station with Chris, we drove home and as we got there I opened the fridge and it was full of nice things. Ahhhh. I ate some chicken ( I know, it was late... but hey... chicken's chicken;)).

Time passes by very slowly and I am very happy about that. It's nice to just be there and spend time with them.

But going to Cologne also means seeing some old friends like Daniel and Patrick. Daniel's gone at the moment. But Patrick had promised me some Latte Macchiato -my favourite- so yesterday I went upstaires and we had fun eating some Coconut Zwieback and drinking LM made by Pat. He realised that you cannot eat and talk at the same time. Every time I would ask him something he would put a biscuit in his mouth, look at me with wide opened eyes... ahaha, it was great...

Some more news soon!

Hugs

Fields of Gold - Sting

You'll remember me when the west wind movesUpon the fields of barleyYou'll forget the sun in his jealous skyAs we walk in fields of goldSo she took her loveFor to gaze awhileUpon the fields of barleyIn his arms she fell as her hair came downAmong the fields of goldWill you stay with me, will you be my loveAmong the fields of barleyWe'll forget the sun in his jealous skyAs we lie in fields of goldSee the west wind move like a lover soUpon the fields of barleyFeel her body rise when you kiss her mouthAmong the fields of goldI never made promises lightlyAnd there have been some that I've brokenBut I swear in the days still leftWe'll walk in fields of goldWe'll walk in fields of goldMany years have passed since those summer daysAmong the fields of barleySee the children run as the sun goes downAmong the fields of goldYou'll remember me when the west wind movesUpon the fields of barleyYou can tell the sun in his jealous skyWhen we walked in fields of goldWhen we walked in fields of goldWhen we walked in fields of gold

Dance

When I was 15 a service team from America came to Berlin. They had a beautiful dance with "My Jesus My Saviour". I learned it. And found dancing to be such a beautiful way to express our love to Jesus that I started making up my own!
Last Saturday I danced with a friend to a song by Withney Houston. I normally only take Chritian Songs. But she had chosen that one so we worked on the lyrics. People really liked it.
Here some pics.

Save Water - Save lives

Last April I went to England for a Salvation Army Congress. It was really good but apart from the meetings there was something else I couldn't forget. Some people presented a S.A. project called Save Water - Save lives. With 10 pounds you can give water to a family in Africa or Asia. For life. I was so impressed and felt that we could do something like that in Switzerland too. And that's what we did.
With our youth group we organized a fantastic evening. We decorated our hall with bamboos, lights, a beautiful bar, a lounge, and vases with water and candels. Groups of girls came to dance, we had a big band that played wonderfully although they only practiced once, barkeepers that mixed delicious drinks (The titi-drink, named after my friend Martina, The Maje, named after Maya and me and another one...)... Two teenagers did a wonderful job presenting the programm in swiss german (I managed to translate in french... see pic.)! And at about 22:00 I presented the project in french and Nathanaël presented it in Swiss German.
People bought many bottles and gave a lot of money.
I will never forget it! It was an excellent evening and some of my friends came. Thank you guys!!!

THE END

So, it's over! The last week, the last day, the last hour came and passed by leaving nothing but memories. It has been a great time and I am so thankful I could enjoy it that much.
Now, I'll have no more teaching adventures for a while. But stay tunned. There's more to life, then a job!

Soon over! But... what about a third round?

:( Friday will be my last day in Ostermundigen! Today I had prepared a test for the french class and during Religion we talked about Family life. It was really good!
Anyhow...afterwards I had the final talk with my teacher. He was so nice. He told me a lot of nice things. He enjoyed working with me and said that if he it was up to him, I could start teaching! "You are ready!" Wow! I was so happy! I'd love to go teach there when I am done with my studies!
At the end he said, that maybe I could come back again for the FP2 Italian and Englisch. I had to laugh;)

My Miracle ... II

Do you know the feeling of total peace? When you feel so nice and you just enjoy life?
The other day, I felt exactly like that. I had read in the Bible and prayed and was ready to start the day. Stangely, it seemed I had more time than the other days. But I was elsewhere with my thoughts.
After preparing my lessons I walked to the bus and drove to the school. I got there and saw a firemen's car. There were children every where. Wondering what might have happened I went into the teacher's room. One of the teacher told me that they had had an exercice with the firemen and that no one had known about it and that is why the pupils were totally out of control now. I thought it was funny and wished I could have been there.
My teacher comes then to me and asks where I had been. Innocently I said I had just come. He had been looking for me. I thought it was wierd! Why on earth?
So, he says, now we have only Religion left.
Hmm? What about French?
Well, it would have been now, but the firemen came.
What do you mean? I thought they came during the last class.
Yes, they came just before!
[And I still didn't get it...sometimes I can be SO slow!]
But then... why don't we have French?
Because they stayed for an hour and a half!
... Oh...my! It means I came to late!!!!
Haha, yes I think so too!
But, I mean, How? How?
I don't know, but you were lucky, the lesson didn't even take place!
Oh my word! I don't know what I did. I was sure I was right on time!
Don't worry! It's ok! You were saved by the firemen!

See? Hadn't they come, I would have been an hour too late. It would have been such a mess! But exactly when I peacefully decide to go to take the bus- an hour later... The firemen go to the school!

THANK YOU LORD FOR THAT PRESENT!!!!
